Cleaning Applications of the Elite System

The use of the Elite System in cleaning applications accounts for nearly 50% of all installations.

Typical users include shopping centre owners, shopping centre management and cleaning contractors.


Goals
  • Show that staff are attending locations regularly.


  • Show that staffing rosters are being fulfilled.


  • Measure location attendance performance.


  • Provide diligence and duty of care information in the event of a public liability claim.

Equipment and Implementation

There are two types of installation possible with the Elite System - "on site" and "remote managed".

"On Site" as it implies, has all equipment required for the complete system at the site.
  • iButtons™ are affixed to locations that are to be monitored.

  • An XL Data Wand is carried by each patrolling cleaner.

  • A dual or quad charger is used to keep wand batteries charged.

  • An XL Memory Unloader to extract data from Wands.

  • A PC is required for the software and storing data.

"Remote Managed" is different - it has just the XL Data Wands and charger(s) located at the site. Data is extracted from the XL Data Wands then sent to head office for analysis and reporting. This has the advantages of less equipment at site, no PC required at site, less training and of course, significantly less cost.
  • At site: iButtons™ are affixed to locations that are to be monitored.

  • At site: An XL Data Wand is carried by each patrolling cleaner.

  • At site: A dual or quad charger is used to keep wand batteries charged.

  • At head office: An XL Memory Unloader is taken to site(s) to extract data from Wands. One unloader can be used to extract data from up to 32 full XL Data Wands - from a number of sites.

  • At head office: A PC is required for the software and storing data.
Application Guide

For On Site;
  • XL Data Wands are touched onto iButtons™ to record attendances.


  • XL Data Wands are charged once a week.


  • Data is unloaded from wands into XL Memory Unloader.


  • Data is extracted into the PC then reports are generated.
For Remote Managed;

  • XL Data Wands are touched onto iButtons™ to record attendances.


  • XL Data Wands are charged once a week.


  • Someone from "head office" visits the site and uses an XL Memory Unloader to extract data from the wands.


  • A number of sites may have their data extracted using an XL Memory Unloader - it has a lot of capacity.


  • Back at head office - the XL Memory Unloader is emptied into a PC and reports are done.
