There has been a trend for larger organizations to allow one contract for the service and maintenance of their facility to one provider. The provider is required to clean, keep secure and maintain the facility. The provider is usually required to supply all relevant insurances and to be responsible for public liability claims. Applying The Elite System to Facilities Management The Elite System provides monitoring information about the movement of staff. It shows where and when they have attended locations around a facility. From this, an estimate of diligence and service provision is made. In other words - by showing staff movements you are providing proof of your supply of labour and proof of your fulfillment of contractual obligations. One of the key features of the Elite System is that it will track multiple job functions. Therefore reporting can show the activity in a single type of work or for all work done. For example - you can show the movements of cleaners or security or maintenance around a facility. All that needs to be done is assign a data logging XL Data Wand to the appropriate staff members and assign that staff member to the correct job function. Later when reporting is done the appropriate job function is selected. Implementation The same equipment is used as for a straight cleaning or security application of the Elite System. However, the reporting software (Elite Reporter) is configured slightly differently. In particular the XL Data Wands are assigned to users who have job functions specified. Later, when a report is generated, the user can select one job function or all.
